Rent a Fatbike
Fatbikes are perfect for outdoor activities in all four seasons. By renting a fatbike, you can get to know your surroundings on your own. The Fatbike was first developed in Alaska based on a mountain bike. The most notable difference between the two is the fatbike’s extra-wide tires, which allow it to roll effortlessly over virtually any surface, including snow, mud, rocks, and sand. Riding a fat bike is easy. It is nimble and light to pedal.
The Trek Faley 5 fatbike is made of high quality components to satisfy even the biggest enthusiasts. To get the most out of a fatbike, try soft surfaces like snow or mud, or cycle on narrow forest trails or on the beach.
The trails in Leivonmäki National Park are particularly versatile. You will see a beautiful pine forest, swamp areas, beautiful ridges and depressions that the ice age made 10,000 years ago.
There are also several ponds on the route, and part of the route runs right through Rutjärvi’s coastal scenery on top of the Joutsiemi ridge or on the beach.
The route is not too difficult, the paths are generally easy. Beginners can tackle a few rockier sections (a few hundred meters) if they want, the more experienced will get a nice change from these to easier trails.
The wheel sizes are as follows:
S size under 170cm
M size 170-182cm
XL size for 182cm and taller

NEW! Hike at Leivonmäki National Park
Come experience Leivonmäki National Park on a guided hike! Each group will have an opportunity to choose from two hiking trail options: 4,5 kilometers long Harjunkierros that goes up ridges and descends down to lakefront, or 5,5 kilometers long Mäyränkierros that showcases the typical national park scenery – swamps, ponds and sinkholes. After hiking 3 kilometers, we will take a break at a tipi-like hut where campfire coffee, tea and local pastries will be served. During the hike you will learn about the national park and hear stories about the surrounding nature.
Both hiking trails are classified as easy. The hike is suited for people of normal fitness level.
